One pavement here, as it’s on a road that is plowed by the town, everyone recognizes there is no need to clear it as it gets buried everytime the town plows. Fortunately we’re in a quiet area, not quite the countryside of the shire but close enough that no one really pays attention to the pavement in this part of town.

Given the lack of snow the past two winters, the snow blower has sat unused, which is a good reminder that it probably needs a service.

Get a two stage electric. No fucking around with oil burning two stroke motors, and all the power you need. I love mine.

If I was buying one these days, I would.. now if I sell this one to Chic, that might be an option.

Overnight snow in Newark. Won’t be bothering to get the Christmas tree today, then.

We'd promised Little Miss BW that we'd get one today so I think we'll be getting out the boots and coats shortly.

Snow last week. Nothing this other than lovely rain.

We have a plastic tree because we want the real ones to live.

You know Christmas trees are farmed, not wild, right?

He's just trying to justify his petrochemical spin off plastics, from his wholely unnecessary journeys to destroy antarctica and other former natural wonders.

Growing more carbon dioxide eaters isn't his style at all......

I grow carbon Dioxide eaters in my garden and don't cut them down. Let them live that's why I say.

Farmed trees should be left to be free. And Tricky has never flown to Croatia or other places of course. Not once stepped foot on a plane. I think so. You tree killer.

Tricky owns his murderous entitled privilege, I think. Last time I spoke to him. We can live in the world, and try to do better.

    I haven't had a xmas tree for some years. It's a start.

So it’s -9f here right now with a wind chill of -30f. (-30c) and I went for a sprint around the block in just my underwear. The cold doesn’t bother me and it’s good for the endorphins and the immunity system. The problem is that I am not in football shape and sprinting around our new neighbourhood is a lot further than the old area. So the cold wasn’t the problem it was at the end of the full on sprint I was gassed. I have also been sick for 8+ days so that doesn’t help. My calf’s are doing odd little spasms without cramping. It’s an odd feeling. In this temperature you can get hypothermic in 30 minutes. I was probably full on sprinting for 3.

I recommend the cold. I am not sure that being this out whack is a good idea though. Having said that I might do it again as it was fun…

I went for a walk this morning (1.59 km - shattered! ), with a bit of hanging around in the middle. It was about 2 degrees centigrade. I wore a couple of layers of passivhaus, and several log burners. My hands got cold.
