Sangare nearly got his leg broke then by Sadio Mane.

Moussa's Senegal 1 up over Ibrahima's Ivory Coast.

Sangare just got a studs up tackle to the shin.

    Sangare seems OK, thankfully.

I'm not watching - is he walking about the side of the pitch or something? Tackle looks bad.

I switched on just after it had happened. Sangare was on the ground in a fair bit of pain looking pretty pissed off with Mane. They stretchered him off to the side of the pitch and the commentators presumed he was done, only for him to get some treatment and come back on.

Looks like his shin pad did its job, but it wasn't a great tackle.

Elsewhere, hadn't realised that Angry Serge captains Cote D'Ivoire and that Max Gradel (who destroyed us once or twice when at Leeds) plays down their left.

No. That was someone’s suggestion that got taken too seriously. It’s Emerse Fae

Thought so too. Ivory Coast look like they won't score if they play until midnight. Still not sure I know what Sangare does - clearly a very talented footballer but we've yet to see the more dynamic PSV version (which is perhaps reflective of the standard of Dutch football).

I think it is...but I also think he will train up. Needs a bit of time to strengthen, as a rangy type. Hopefully when he looks better after a pre-season (as Mangala did this season for me) it wont be too late for us.

Was just thinking as he went off that you wouldn’t offer what we’d paid on tonight’s showing.

Late Ivory Coast equaliser and looks like this one's heading for extra time.
