It sounds like it has the potential for a more sustainable way of playing (bit more emphasis on possession etc) but I’m yet to be convinced that CHO/Elanga replace Brennan’s goals, so we’d also need to be creating significantly more chances. As you say, interesting but another big job.

Total deal is 40M + 5M in addons apparently, so it's not financing much more than Sangare. Suspect it will see us change the way we play a bit though, which might not be a bad thing.

It's the structure of the financing, though, isn't it? +£40m goes straight onto the FFP calcs for this year. If we pay £38M for Sangare on a five year deal, that's goes down as only -£7.6M this year for FFP.
