If we have to wait until summer to sell Brennan them he may be worth more if we have another good season. Or we may be needing to sell MGW for £100m instead by then if he continues to progress and Southgate picks him.

In news that actually isn't surprising other than Man Utd cannot afford him. (not sure this is true), We have been after Amrabat for three windows. He has turned us down each time. Although this is weird because I am guessing we wouldn't bid if there wasn't some interest but they ho. I am guessing the general thing is that he prefers Champions League teams other than us but totally wouldn't say no if he didn't have other offers. (see Sangare...).
It's all moot anyway because he will probably end up at Scum Utd with the Henderson money or Saudi. Although it would be hilarious if ours was the still the only concrete offer on Friday and says fuck it, why not. He clearly doesn't want to stay in that shithole Florence. I mean, who would?
Chicago: Crossing the fingers for a miracle.
Are we awkwardly cheering for Rangers today, in the vain hope that a non-Champs League PSV would sell Sangaré?
Lewis O'Brien season loan to Middlesbrough apparently. Well, according to lots of the Tw@tter.
New bid for Sangare of 35M euros.

He must have shown interest in coming for us to be this persistent.
Eze would be more costly I think.
If we were, it didn’t help; they were spanked 5-1
Could be an interesting 40-odd hours (as I write); if the leaks and rumours and Twatters are to be even partly believed, we’re still in for Sangaré, Domniguez and Ndidi (plus CHO, Micky B, Tavares & the keeper whose name I forget). Oh, and Murillo.
I assume the midfielders are n’t all actually going to go all the way - and if they do we really are going to have a problem with FFP, bomb squads etc.
LOB to Boro for the season confirmed.
Romano is reporting personal terms agreed with the Greek goalkeeper, would like to see that one completed.
Me too. Nothing against Turner, but Horvath concerns me at this level.
Represented Germany at every age group from U-15 to U-21, but a Greek international (as the name would kind of suggest).
Surely the only player called Odysseus in English football history (assuming he comes). Look out for the posher newspapers shoe-horning in references to “going wandering” etc….

'We want new players that are hungry to be here'
Chelsea v Nottm Forest (Sat, 15:00 BST)
Nottingham Forest
BBC Radio Nottingham reporter David Jackson has grabbed some time with Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper, who is expecting to be busy with some transfer business in the next couple of days.
He revealed that the defensive pair of Nuno Tavares and Murillo are in the "final stages" of joining Forest.
"[I] learned last year [we] needed some youthful enthusiasm, hungry players wanting to thrive at the level for first time but also need wise heads around the place as well. [We have] got to get that right," Cooper said.
"The two you mentioned [Tavares and Murillo] I believe are in the final stages of joining us. I hope that goes smoothly and we can start working. Not [the] case at the moment. We just want new players that are hungry to be here, want to make a difference."
Cooper also refused to rule out the departure of Wales forward Brennan Johnson, who has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
"[Any transfer] would not be because of FFP [Financial Fair Play]. I don’t know if that plays part of it or not.
"There is a lot of speculation around Brennan Johnson at the moment. Some of it may be true, some maybe [not], as far as possible.
"I don’t look at it. Loads of things can happen in the next couple of days. And maybe some that don’t. Until the window closes and we know exactly what has been done and why, that’s really when we can start thinking about [the] future."
Or the (arguably) slightly more nuanced (referee being a) Homer / Odyssey
