It's not just that, they really really hate him. I have tried to understand why because his goal record is good and he gets picked for Belgium etc, and apparently it's because he does absolutely fuck all to contribute to broader play. He just goal hangs, has a heavy touch, is slow and basic. A lot of Chelsea fans are morons though, so that's a caveat.

I doubt we want to pay 20M and 100K a week for a guy who isn't guaranteed to be the number one. I think we've moved on from him now.

He would be the number 1 I think. But it isn't happening now. I would sooner have Sa than Turner as number 1 though if there is any truth in that.

I've seen Sa linked this week but he's first choice at wolves, so you'd think we'd have to make a stupid offer to get him.

C'est la vie. I like Hendo but Turner isn't a huge downgrade. Had some shaky moments first half today, much better in the second and made a couple of excellent saves.
