HWG .
HWG and swoopage!? What a day.
I didn’t know Mark Hughes was the Bradford manager,
You are being a bit selective on the signings front. They have spent 34m on a striker from Watford, 20m on a GK from Anderlect and 17m on a CB from Fiorentina also got a 27 year old in on a free from Dortmand.
The kind of signings and fees we have been looking at.
I thought it was quite a strange podcast this week. There was a lot of picking up of what appear to be pretty minority opinions and arguing why they were wrong.
The idea that SC is heading towards losing the fan base in any way is clearly nonsense and I’m not sure why they bothered discussing it.
To be fair, Fletch started losing his shit about it after a while, and the host had to back-track by saying he'd read a few comments on Twitter and their YouTube stream. Any of whom could quite easily be bots, for all he knows.

My point, really, was that Evangelous still likes the kudos of dealing with Arsenal and Manu and signing WC winners. It may well be that we sign another five players who feel more like Brighton players.
I didn't mention Aina, who does seem like a player who could increase in value. Although, as he's only signed for one year and has already let two contracts expire, it may well be that we won't be cashing in on him as he seems to favour the Lyle Taylor approach.

I think Glyn Hodges is his number two.
I'm sure that we used to call him a number two, long before he was appointed to such a role.
Forest fans are visionary.
Good poo joke, well done.
There is a rumour of Tyrese Fornah to Derby, whether on loan or permanent I do not know.
Beeb (from yesterday) bringing the Hudson-Odoi interest back up. Don’t think I’ve ever seen him play but their pundit seems to think he’d be a bit of a bargain at 8-9M.
They compare this to Gnonto being priced at 25M. I’ve no real clue about any of this but Russ’ dislike (not-sure if-serious.jpg) of Gnonto.

Hudson-Odoi is reportedly on $120K a week though. You can't just compare the transfer fees, although he has apparently indicated a willingness to take a significant pay cut in his quest for playing time.
My dislike of Gnonto as a player is real; he's only young and he's clearly talented but he makes a lot of poor decisions, he runs down a lot of blind alleys, and I don't like small players (insert your own joke here). His recent tantrum and demand for a transfer speaks poorly of his mindset and his supporting cast as well.
Montiel confirmed.
I didn’t know Mark Hughes was the Bradford manager,
Sooner or later there comes a time for every tinpot lower league club who once briefly flirted with very short term relative success and still harbour delusiouns of adequacy where Mark Hughes becomes the manager.
I expect he'll rock up at D*rby at some point.

One of the reasons I brought it up. Seemed all a bit too good. I don’t recall the Beeb mentioning wages at all. Which, as you point out, is kind of important.
Hudson -Odoi hasn't fully recovered from an Achilles injury. He was fucking brilliant before that happened. He has been shagged for going on 2 years now. Apparently it is impeding his ability to fully sprint without discomfort. At least until recently. Taking him on would be a massive risk. If he heals and comes good then it is a massive win but again not many seem to eager to take that chance...
So, 2+2 = Stevie Cooper worked with him. Not sure he is a priority but if we get him for bugger all then maybe just maybe it will be worth it.
Pretty sure midfield and defence is currently on the agenda right now Maybe he is a deadline day free deal.
Who knows but as I keep saying, deadline day is going to be mental!!!
Harwood Bellis is still coming though....
Chicago: Putting it out there...
