The elephant in this particular room, I suspect, is how closely aligned to the
head coach some players (MGW particularly) are. Lose the coach, and we will likely lose some key players (and their effectiveness in the shorter term).

Chelsea and Everton don’t seem to care about FFP so why not make the player (talks had taken place) make a fcuking decision by actually getting a bid accepted and then move on if he wants to keep his options open.
