Why? Seems to me like Elanga and CHO would be replacing Lingard and Ayew, never mind Dennis who will inevitably depart. It's not like we need to sell Brennan to finance CHO, everyone seems to be all concerned about FFP but I doubt we're really at much risk at the beginning of year 2 of a 3 year assessment.
I wonder how much of this is about FFP, and how much is looking forward and assuming we might be at risk of losing MGW and Danilo this time next year, so trying to stagger inevitable departures.
