Apparently it's a choice of Djed, Roddan or Bryan Gil. Plus cash.

    Djed.
    Pretty please.

If it was djed plus £40m I'd be tempted

Died never knowingly tracked back as far as I can remember.
In a backs to the wall bottom half premier team he’s probably not what’s required defensively.

Don’t like to ruin the love-in so I’ll get my coat.

The agreement could be structured, for financial purposes, as:

Spuds buy Johnson for £70 million.
Forest buy Spence for £30million on a six year deal.

He's no right back. I'm hopeful/optimistic that we'll have the option of being a more positive threat this season (against, say, Luton/Undead), and players like Djed would be exciting options.
Not a priority, not least because Taiwo's streak might be form or talent and we still don't really know which, and I still catch my breath about ur number 1.

I would take Djed. He is a great defender when focused. You just have to put him in difficult positions otherwise he drifts off and gets caught. Magnificent athlete and could also take Brennan's spot on the right wing. He is just as fast.

Then again I would take a few of our loanees from the promotion.season.

There is no doubt The Arsenal game will be another game of attrition. The question is, were we that good against them at the end of last season or were they knackered? Well shall see. Left back will be interesting..

    Chicago: Questioning.

Sell Johnson and you have to replace ten goals (in a low scoring side) and a player who worked his nuts off every game and was our most potent goal threat last year, plus has a ready made understanding with our best attacking player (MGW). We should only be doing that if we effectively have no choice as it will significantly increase our chances of relegation.

Keinan and Djed. Not s excited about Garner, Zinck or Max. Or Jordi.

Garner turned out to be excellent for Everton in the tail end of last season. The ship has sailed, but he could've been good for us in the Premier leagueship.

Basically I was talking about Keinan and Djed..

Still think that they would work for us.

We look horribly off balance at the moment.

    Chicago: Standing on one leg.

I think Keinan's chance at this level is probably gone. He didn't exactly pull up trees at Watford last year.

Zinck just signed somewhere for two years, it didn't really work out at Oly. Love the guy, but everything he does Morgan does better.

I would have both Garner and Djed back here very happily. I wish we'd been able to keep them.

Keinan would be excellent squad depth (assuming he stayed fit. Yeah.). We only really have Taiwo and Wood, and there are plenty of reservations about each of them.

Plus relatively cheap and knows how we play. It's a yes from me.

No from me. He's not done it at this level and is too injury prone. He was great for that period of the promotion season, but time to move on.

There are a few from the promotion squad who'd 'not done it at this level' and they mostly did very well last season. I'm with Jim - at the right price, I'd happily take him as an option we don't currently have.

It's moot anyway. Would come down to whether Cooper and his team feel the player has the minerals alongside the ability to be coached at the level.
