OK well I was just checking in to see how things are. Not too much transferwise to talk about.

Toff situation means we almost certainly need another left back, regardless of Richard’s fitness. If he gets banned as long as Toney (I don’t think we know he was betting on his own clubs yet, which might help him), that’s the season.

Hadn't seen that about Tof. He was borderline good enough for a lower premier league squad so that decides it. New left back/left wing back please, otherwise Neco could be busy and we will need to hope that either Omar is fixed and good or Donnelly is very good and ready.

Willian's wife has apparently started following Marinakis and Forest on Instagram, so I guess he'll be unveiled in the new shirt tomorrow. In other news, I don't know who jamesob is.

I'm just a bloke and I confirm I'm not currently suspended from the BBC, and nor do I answer to the name Hew, Russ's mate Pete, Phil, Holly, or Gordon the Gopher. All other possibilities remain open.

More talk of Brennan potentially going to Villa (in the Daily Heil) - this time saying that he is keen to go.

Maybe why we are being associated with wingers (Hudson and Elanga I have seen - maybe Willian - if that is where he plays)

I wouldn’t be too concerned. It’s Jonno senior trying to get his son a shiny new contract equal to that of MGW.

I very much doubt we would sell someone young with massive bags of potential with three years left unless we really needed to.

The kit launch may have some shiny players involved. So the 14th might be exciting.

William is a good player but 34. He is also a left winger isn’t he?

Would be an odd one for me. Doesn't fit the wider brief of going after younger players with resale value, nor does he seem quite good enough to be a Filipe/Navas type of signing. That said, trust in the process and all that (presuming if course that the Willian line is genuine).

I feel like those of you not understanding the interest in Willian didn't actually watch Fulham last year.

Fulham are definitely one of those clubs I paid the least attention to. And Wolves. And Palace.

Weren't fighting us for relegation. Aren't superstars.

So? I doubt we're signing him to a 5 year contract. He came through the last one pretty well.
