    Scarpa to Besiktas?

Probably better to give the whole story rather than just do a Daily Mail.

    www.nottinghampost.com/sport/football/transfer-news/nottingham-forest-receive-loan-offer-8573315

Besiktas want to loan him with an option to buy, it almost certainly won't happen as Scarpa wants to play in England for a couple of years at least.

I can't see any way we let him go, especially for no money, without seeing what he can do with a full preseason under his belt.

NO. Scarpa has made it clear in the Brazilian press that injury and getting ripped off ruined his season and he is looking forward to redeem himself and besides the Turkish press is full of shit.

Hopefully he is going to be given a chance. The only problem is.. Can he play in the same team as MGW. Maybe rotational as they swap positions. I think he's an immense talent, he is just not as robust as Danilo and Morgan. It's an issue. I think I will still get the new shirt with Scarpa on it. He's my guy ,(appropriate use of the word).

I am wondering if we are waiting on Henderson for all the dominos to fall. Links to Sessenon and Odoi who used to play for Coops in England. Might be nothing to it as Omar could be like a new signing. I have a feeling that we are still chasing Lodi so maybe that is why we haven't pounced yet.

Brighton might be getting my dream recommendation for the summer; Mohammed Kudus. He won't go for a huge amount of money because he has a few injury problems but fuck me what a talent. Would be nice to splash on a midfielder like him.

Having said that, I would be happy with Tyler Adams and Silas from Germany who is also a top talent (unfortunately another AFCON victim).

I have no idea if we are getting Ieanacho. I wouldn't be against it.

Anyway, I think unless we try and get Onana instead of Spam Utd, Hendo is first. After that? Dunno.

And just to be a twat, Gallagher on loan.... (which I think is rather unlikely).

Chicago: Fumbling around in the dark.

I like to think that Scarpa can rotate in and out with MGW, and I hope Cooper tries it out. I'm not hopeful either will happen though.

I kinda think, annoyingly as I dislike Leeds, that it would be a good move for him.

Absolutely not. Bamford is nowhere near a Premier League player.

Why would we swap Surridge for an inferior, older version of Surridge?

The Mail says that Brentford, Villa and an unnamed Spanish club want Brennan, and that Forest have set the asking price at 50M.

If someone meets that, I'm taking it.

Villa would be an ok move for him. Decent club, not too far from home and Matty Cash.

Big Taylors piece in the The Athletic. Not much new but this amused me:

    Quoted message:

Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is a big fan of the manner in which Brighton operate: seeking to sign young players with vast potential who can make an immediate impact on the Forest first team and who will only increase in value when they do.

The Carlos Borges mention was interesting, though.

Surely every football club owner likes this.

That was why it amused me. The ideal signing for almost any club is someone young, good enough improve the team and able to sell on for a profit in a few years. The question that matters is "what are you doing to identify those players?".

Signing young Man City fringe players like Carlos Borges is the approach that set Southampton on the way to relegation last season but that's what they were trying to do.

People are saying that Lodi is back on. And other people are saying that Omar Ricards has removed mentions of Forest from his Instagram page.

These two things may or may not be related.
