It's apparently a conditional obligation, no idea what the conditions are but I would presume he's expected to complete a permanent deal - he's a known quantity in Serie A, I'm guessing it's being done this way for financial reasons.

Forest are calling it a permanent deal anyway.

Yes we’ve signed a fair few again, but they all look sensible enough to me. I’d only say Montiel probably isn’t particularly required but who knows.

Not too much in here we don't already know but a couple of interesting tidbits about Brentford, first this:
and then this
Brentford are a tinpot outfit that behaves like a tinpot outfit, and proper clubs want nothing to do with them. Now fuck off back to League One where you belong.
CHO official.
CHO for £3m rising to £5m seems good value. Imagine his big wages helped keep the fee down

He's took a pay cut, but with a longer contract (was out of con next year)
When the talk around him going to us or Fulham started a few weeks ago, it was widely said that he was willing to take a hefty pay cut to make a deal happen and get playing time, and that he recognised that after the injury he had (torn achilles) he knew he was going to have to rebuild his reputation.
I think this one is a smart punt.
I agree, if he is physically OK. 2 years ago he was 40M + player

I did not see that coming. Good for him. For some bizarre reason I quite like him. He looks tricky and with two good feet. In the Championship he might do ok.
In amongst the excitement, spare a thought (or don't) for our friends along the A52...

Interesting to see Danny Drinkwater on that list. I wonder how many games he's had since he left leicester?
