Hark the experts on Ibrahim Sangare’s release clause….
Whoosh.
We want to pay the release clause but in installments and I think that means PSV can reject that..
Expect a surprise tomorrow. No fucking clue what that means. Probably Henderson.... OR NAVAS!
I said Deadline day will be mental. BRING ON THE MENTAL!!!!!! (Amrabat and ESR will make me cream my pants and yes I don't believe this will happen..) Maybe the mental is Jonno doesn't leave?
Chicago: Expecting to be disappointed.
CHO gets the HWG. Brennan has to be gone now. I hope he isn't though.

I love BJ and think he’s a much better player than he gets credit for… but it feels like he is, to quote from The Wire, a ‘Career Motherfucker’… that is, he is being very smart and aggressive about ensuring he gets his slice whenever his stock increases… so whether it’s agitating for a transfer or an improved contract, he is proactive about capturing his own value for himself.
I cannot criticise him at all for that. It’s smart, and because he keeps improving as a player, it’s effective. However, it’s perhaps also disruptive from the club’s point of view and, maybe, they see that it only ends either with a transfer or with him on a problematic contract that exceeds his value.. so moving on now, when his stock is about as high as it can go unless he steps up to ‘top 4’ level, is the right play.
I will not blame him for moving on (unless it's to Brentford) and I can see the business sense of it for Forest, but it doesn't mean I have to like it one bit.
Sure. Though moving to Brentford works just fine for his career. They are better than us and will most likely operate in a different part of the PL table for the next couple of years.. during which his job is to show that he can operate up there, and do well at a different club to the one he’s grown up with, quickly adapt to a new coach and players, and get a tasty pay rise.
It may be a smarter move that Spurs, because whilst Spurs will probably be more competitive, it’ll be a tougher place to be and, should he do well, a harder place to get out of.
Sky reporting interest in Origi (Burnley and Fulham also interested). I'd make Fulham favourites there. Batshuayi talk has gone quiet.
Former would be controversial, given he'd already signed for Palace when you posted that.
Any next move could potentially be your last and Brennan thinks playing at Brentford n front of 17,000 boring fans, where he will win nothing at all is a step up from trying to keep his home town club in the Premier league in front of a roaring capacious crowd at the City ground each week and with all his mates, I'd be surprised. I don't think he'll go there by choice. Spurs seems like a done deal anyway.
To be fair to him there have been suggestions that the club has been touting him around for some time now. His dad undoubtedly plays the money game, but the club also know they have an asset that releases activity in a way no other does as a very high value homegrown player. And Brennan himself has never faltered as far I can see in his efforts for the team.
For Brentford to have made so many bids you’d have to think he’d said he would go there.
CHO has the HWG from Romano.
Edit: Russ has already posted this six hours ago which is odd as the Romano tweet I've just seen appeared to have been sent in the past hour. As you were.
Panzo joins Bowler(?) on loan at Cardiff.
Greek keeper gets the HWG.
