Excellent result for the magic tactics....although to my untrained eye it just looked like the players trying a bit harder.

I think he cramped up, but I was screaming at the TV. Fucking shoe-it, you clown!
In among all the excitement, I'd forgotten I have both Gibbs-White and Anderson in my fantasy team. Nice.
Horrendous journey up. Missed the first 10. Watched it sober.
But fucking loved it.
I liked the manager's post match interview on the radio. Talked about the actual game, tactics, and analysis, rather than just reeling off a self evident list of incidents, or talk about himself. Also had the acumen in the first place to assess the resources at his disposal and try a back three.
Four games without a win. Lost every home game and just one point from nine in the league under Vitor. Surely it's time for the next man up?
Don't worry about results. The players are happier that they don't have to train hard, and guru's eyes aren't bleeding.
Well they were trying hard but we did start with 3 centre backs. Is that tactics or strategy? Anderson shooting properly also helped.
So for stats fans. We have nine games left. In thirteen EPL games this season, our manager has registered 0 (zero) wins.
Luckily for non-stats fans, he hasn't played the teams that we are left to play, with the squad at his disposal, in the moment that we will play them. So anything can happen.
We looked better defending today. Doing that, and being good on the break, tactically speaking, is likely to be the best hope for accumulating the points that we need. As has marked every successful period for forest going back to Clough.
Hopefully the owner won't decide to interfere, the players will do a bit of running about, and there isn't an idiot director of football hell bent on turning us into something that we are not before the end of the season.
Neither. That's just selection and starting positions. Strategy and tactics are where they are told to run about and kick.
Yes it did! Also not strategy or tactics. Just better execution.
So the question is: did they play better because of Big Club Motivation, or because Pereira communicated better? Or Mugabe, obv.
Well Christ, I almost had a heart attack at the end of the game watching Morato come on and be useless. Netz surely! Sangare running with the ball like he was made of soup and Murillo clearing off the line when it looked all but certain we would fuck that up. VAR was nice to us today because Haaland was fouled by Sels. Yes his head hit his leg but he impeded him. Lovely that we had a referee more inclined to give us the benefit of the doubt because I was sure we were buggered at certain points. Tremendous fight by the boys and a cracking Morgan goal and a lovely Anderson finish.
Having watched the Shammers goal due to an absolute fuck up by the Foolham keeper you couldn't help but think that we really were up against it.
We are holding on and slowly pulling the Spuds in. Do Citeh have the 'appy cunt spammers next? I think they might be cross enough to fuck them over.
In the break we must learn how to score goals. We have a chance and that game showed we have fight. Although at the end of the game is does seem rather desperate.
How Vitor manages this squad now i don't know. Anyway, I am still at work and have to sit down.
WELL DONE INGO YOU FANTASTIC BASTARD!!!!!!
Chicago: Breathing a sigh of relief.
Thanks Chic, I'd love to say I couldn't have done it with out you but that would be a lie.
I'm benching myself for the Midgetland games but I'm running the league show from here on in, I've earnt* it
*@Jake I realise this is an upsetting and triggering concept for you
I thought as the players were professionals they tried their bestest at all times and the coach, the crowd (despite home advantage obviously being a thing proven over the decades) and their mood at the time only having a negligible influence. I'm sure 5% at best has been quoted before. But yes I agree, seemed to be a fuckton of commitment last night and we always looked like we could force something.
Don't worry your little cotton socks, Ingo. You working hard to pay my wages causes me no discomfort at all.
Half right.
At this point I'm hoping we can get above Spurs to stay up.
